After carefully researching the practical and legal implications of extending camping to a year around schedule, it has been determined that Camp Liahona will be open by reservation to Church auxiliaries and groups such as Primary, Single Adults, Priesthood Quorums, etc.

Heretofore, Camp Liahona has been only a Youth Activity Centre. The youth auxiliaries Young Men and Young Women will still have priority access to the camp during the summer weeks when schools are not in session, but even then, if the camp is not fully booked by a youth group it is available to other groups. However, during this summer season, non-youth groups can only schedule 3 weeks in advance.
